Her commitment to creating meaningful change led to the inception of The Blessed House, providing a haven where women can flourish, learn, and grow.
The Blessed House serves women facing transitional periods, including those receiving SSI or other forms of income, ensuring they have a stable and supportive environment. For over three years, The Blessed House has successfully helped women overcome homelessness, offering temporary and long-term housing. The program provides more than just shelter—it fosters community, stability, and personal growth, equipping residents with essential life skills and resources.
Through strategic partnerships and local outreach, The Blessed House aims to expand its impact, reaching more women in vulnerable situations. Shawana’s experience in business and mentorship fuels her dedication to uplifting women, ensuring they have the opportunity to rebuild their lives in a safe and supportive space.
